Irina Alekseeva

At 7 years old I knew what I wanted to do. I dreamed of coming up with covers for notepads, dishes in different shapes, interesting pieces of furniture and things for interiors, for the cities of the future. Even then I knew that there was one word for that profession – designer.
And things just went according to plan: graphic design in art school, furniture design in the academy. In my student years I worked as a theater designer, participated in a few painting exhibitions, and joined the International Federation of Artists. For the last few years I have been working as art director for BRIZ Studio. Today, besides interiors, I also design and illustrate various items, such as lighting fixtures and furniture.
Design is an amazing process. The magic of turning imagination into something material. We change this world every day, and we learn from it every day as well.
